Growing to Serve More Children
At first, 75 children attended the elementary school. Today, with over 105 children in our care and a new school building under construction, we are expanding to include secondary education through 10th grade, allowing all of our children to attend school on campus.​​​
​While the school building itself has been provided through a generous gift, the ongoing work of educating children requires faithful, ongoing help from those who believe in this work. Teachers’ salaries, school supplies, utilities, maintenance, and daily operations are ongoing needs as the school grows.​​
A Passport Out of Poverty
Our school is an English-medium school. Many people might not understand this, but it is a difference that can completely change a child’s future in India.
Before our school began, our children attended local government schools serving poor and low-caste communities around them. Classrooms were overcrowded, resources were scarce, and students sat on the floor because desks were unavailable. With too many students and too few resources, meaningful learning was difficult to achieve. School offered little hope of changing kids' futures and simply led back to the same poverty their families had always known. Education existed, but opportunity did not.
Our school teaches in English — something not otherwise available to children from poor and low-caste backgrounds. In India, English education often determines access to higher education, skilled employment, and opportunities far beyond a child’s village. What was once closed to these children is now within reach. They are not only learning to read and write; they are gaining the tools needed to step into a different future.
Today, our children learn in structured classrooms with desks, books, and teachers who know them by name. They study in a stable environment where learning is expected, encouraged, and supported. Instead of falling behind or being overlooked, they are growing in confidence, discipline, and hope — discovering abilities many never had the opportunity to develop before.
Education alone is not the goal. We believe every child is created with purpose and value. By providing both education and a Christ-centered environment, we seek to prepare these children not only for better opportunities in life, but also for lives shaped by faith, character, and service to others.
For these children, school is no longer simply a place to pass the day. It has become a pathway toward a future that once seemed impossible.
