Evangelism
Your donation can help reach souls for Christ.
This is what it's all about. If we give to support good works without a mind for winning souls, we have helped someone for only a moment. If our ultimate goal is to win souls for Christ, we have helped someone in this life and eternally. Our objective at Sanctuary Ministries is to show Christ's love, and in doing so, to reach beyond today's needs, to add to God's kingdom. This growth, of course, can only be accomplished by God, but He calls His people to spread the word.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." — Matthew 28:19
Our Father calls us to send people to preach the word to those who have not heard.
"For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?” — Romans 10:13-15a
Through the work of our dear brother Isaac Palaparthi, we have contact with over 125 hard-working, devoted ministers in India who are preaching, who are reaching souls for Christ within a culture that doesn't know the one true God. These men work in the fields, lay bricks, or do some other sort of menial work, earning $2 to $4 per day, to try to support their families while ministering to their congregations and endeavoring to reach others in their village. They try to help the poor, the widows, and the children in their villages. These preachers face many hardships, including hunger and intolerance from many around them. Many are not able to meet the needs of their families, yet they continue in their dedication to serving the Lord.
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” —Romans 10:15b
Two Ways to Support Evangelism in India
Give full or partial support to one preacher
Would you consider helping an indigenous minister to reach souls in India? Most preachers in India minister to one or two congregations, while taking a menial job (such as a field worker or brick layer) to support his family. A $200 per month commitment is all that it would take for an experienced local preacher to pour all his efforts into winning souls for the kingdom.* Among his duties, he would continue as minister of his congregation(s), and would travel to other villages, coordinating with other preachers, holding gospel meetings and spreading the message of salvation, and helping widows. If you are willing to support a preacher either partially or fully, please look below for ministers who are seeking support. If you have any questions, or need more details, please contact us.
*Please note: We are asking for $200/month to sponsor an evangelist, but we leave the actual distribution amount up to Isaac, our director of operations in India. ALL MONEY RECEIVED, 100%, WILL GO TO EVANGELISTS. However, Isaac may decide to break the amount up to help more than one evangelist. We leave that up to him, to determine the best and most effective use of funds for the furtherance of the gospel in India.
Support preachers in their efforts
If you'd like to give to support ministers in India, but do not want to be tied to a $200 commitment, we have a way to do that! Choose the amount you want to give. Our esteemed and trusted brother Isaac travels the area and has regular contacts with 125 ministers in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana. He knows where the needs lie. If you are willing to provide the funds towards our efforts in evangelism, look below for donation options, or contact us for more details.
